NOVEMBER 10th ATATURK COMMEMORATION PROGRAM

    November 10th Atatürk Commemoration Program, which was attended by many of our academics and students, was held in Reyhan Conference Hall. The program started with a moment of silence and the singing of our National Anthem accompanied by sirens. Then, Biruni University Faculty of Health Sciences Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Arzu Razak ÖZDİNÇLER, who made a speech named "My Ataturk" to express the meaning and importance of the day, said that she would most like to go to the period when Ataturk lived, meet him and ask him how he did not give up the struggle despite the difficulties he experienced, and stated that living in line with the principles he left are the most important values that lead to success. ÖZDİNÇLER, who completed her speech with tears in her eyes, caused emotional moments in the hall. Afterwards, our students took the stage with their poems containing love and longing for the founder. Biruni University Faculty of Medicine 1st Year Student  İlayda ÇELİK, a member of the Literature and Poetry Society of our university, enchanted the audience with a poem titled "Mustafa Kemals are forever" and Biruni University Faculty of Education Guidance and Psychological Counseling 3rd Year Student Furkan Zeki ERKAZAN presented the poem called "I think of Mustafa Kemal".

    Finally, Öykü ARSLAN, a 3rd year student of Biruni University Faculty of Health Sciences, Language and Speech Therapy, and Fatih Emre AKKUŞ, a 4th year student of Biruni University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Computer Engineering; performed the "November 10th Oratorio".  The program ended after the staging of the oratorio, which was watched with great interest and appreciation by the audience.
